Rev. Malkmus’ Hallelujah Cornbread
Dec 30th
After adopting The Hallelujah Diet in 1976, Rev. Malkmus missed the taste of cornbread — until he developed this one!

“Well” Wishes For The New Year
Dec 29th
Thank you for all those wonderful Christmas and New Year greetings, and especially for the attached testimonies of how The Hallelujah Diet has blessed so many. As we start the New Year 2012, please keep sending me those wonderful testimonies. Your letters make my day!
“To our dear friends George and Rhonda: What a blessing you have been to us these past years! The fellowship in the Lord has been so sweet and we have really enjoyed attending church services with you at Faith Baptist Church in Shelby.
We want to especially thank you for The Hallelujah Diet, because God has used it to heal both Bob’s melanoma cancer and Ruth’s heart disease, without doctors and their chemotherapy or a heart transplant (which the doctors said was Ruth’s only hope).
We want to also thank you George and Rhonda for all your hard work and the sacrifices you have made over the years so that we, along with so many others around the world, could have a healthy lifestyle to follow, one that is free from disease.
We want to wish you both a blessed Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year. We pray that God will continue to bless you and use you for many more years.”
Health Ministers Bob and Ruth D., South Carolina

2012 – Time To Try Something New?
Dec 27th
On January 1, 2012 we will all begin a “NEW” Year. In the last book of the Bible, we find a passage about a coming day when Jesus will proclaim: “Behold, I make all things ‘NEW’”. (Revelation 21:8)
As we anticipate the beginning of a new year, I want to challenge you to consider some “new” things that could be helpful to both your physical and spiritual well-being.
The Bible often cautions us with regard to the choices we make. For instance the apostle John admonishes us:
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but TRY the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
(1 John 4:1)
I Was Raised On The Standard American Diet (SAD)
I was raised in a home, being provided items to eat by my mother that were not in my health’s best interest. Now I can’t blame my mother for this, because she was doing the best she knew how based on her knowledge.
Mother was a registered nurse and what she gave me to eat was based in large part on what she was taught about nutrition in Nurses Training, and of course what she was provided to eat by her mother as she was growing up.
What most of us eat today is based on what we were programmed to eat by our parents and what society around us eats.
I was raised on the Standard American Diet (SAD), a diet of meat and dairy at most every meal, with lots of sugary desserts, while almost everything I ate was cooked.
Based upon what I have learned in recent years, this diet was one that was destined to eventually create physical breakdown and problems in future years.
I Continued To Eat The Standard American Diet
Shortly after graduating from high school in 1952, Uncle Sam sent me greetings that my services were required in the U.S. Army for service in the Korean War. Having joined the Naval Reserve in high school, rather than going into the Army, I applied for active duty in the U. S. Navy, where after boot camp I served on a ship for several years.
On that ship, the U.S.S. LST 1041, once again without any input from me or knowledge of what was healthy to eat, I was provided and ate the same SAD diet I had been raised on at home. [LST’s are Landing Ship Tanks, and would beach themselves, open their bow doors, and from the tank deck tanks and troops would come forth to engage the enemy.]
After an honorable discharge from the U. S. Navy in July 1955 I married and guess what I ate? You guessed it, the same SAD diet I had been raised on and eaten during my upbringing at home and during my years in the Navy.
Consequences Of Consuming The Standard American Diet
As a result of consuming this almost 100% cooked food diet (high in animal fat and animal protein with lots of candy, sugar desserts and soft drinks), physical problems that had begun to manifest as a child continued to manifest with increasing frequency and intensity as I grew older.
Pimple outbreaks became more intense and frequent; tooth decay caused me to spend ever increasing hours in dentist chairs; eyesight deterioration developed to the extent I required glasses; hypoglycemia manifested; elevated blood pressure surfaced, and the final blow – in late 1975 was told I had colon cancer.
Not wanting to go the traditional medical route my mother had gone for her colon cancer before me, I went looking for an alternative. Why? Because mother’s experience of going the medical route and accepting their treatments was disastrous.
At mother’s death, I was convinced it wasn’t the cancer that ultimately caused her death. It was the chemotherapy, radiation and surgery that destroyed her immune system, which in turn led to her death.
I believe that most of the deaths attributed to cancer today are caused by the immune destroying treatments used in the treatment of cancer — not by the cancer itself.
On the death certificates of these cancer patients, cause of death should not be listed as “cancer”, but rather “treatments.”
Then I Tried Something “New”
After watching the rapid decline in mother’s health after she started down the medical route for her cancer, I went seeking an alternative.
In my search, I asked the advice of an evangelist in Texas by the name of Lester Roloff. He discouraged me from going the medical route and encouraged me to do something as simple as change what I ate.
He said that if I wanted to get well I needed to stop eating the SAD diet of cooked meat and dairy, and the refined sugar that had destroyed my immune system (and caused my cancer). In its place, he said I needed to start eating the raw garden foods God told Adam to eat in Genesis 1:29, and to drink lots of freshly extracted vegetable juices.
Because I was willing to try something “NEW” (at least it was new to me) my rectal bleeding stopped within days and the baseball-sized tumor in my colon shrunk then disappeared.
Within a year I was well and cancer-free!
Friends, because I was willing to try something “NEW” 36 years ago, I am still alive and well and soon to be 78 years of age. I have already outlived my mother by 12 years who ate the SAD diet and accepted medical modalities for her cancer.
Are You Willing To Try Something “New?”
In both the spiritual and physical realms, there are false prophets trying to lead us in a direction contrary to the way God would have us go, a way contrary to our best interests.
And when a person listens to these false prophets it can lead them ever further away from both spiritual and physical health.
How can we know whether a spirit is of God? We can “try the spirit”:
“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this WORD [the Bible], it is because there is no light in them.”
(Isaiah 8:20)“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy WORD is truth.”
(John 17:17)Jesus said: “And ye shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall make you free.”
(John 8:32)
Many Voices
Friends, there are many voices beckoning us to try various things in both the spiritual and physical realms that can be very destructive to both our physical and spiritual well-being.
Many a person has walked into trouble by trying something new, something they should never have tried in the first place. For instance, that first cigarette or that first drink of alcohol…that first lie…taking something that didn’t belong to them…being unfaithful to a spouse…and we could go on.
And as we look back over our lives, most of us can see how that if we had tested the spirits and never tried that something new, that something that was not in our best interest, that took us in a direction we shouldn’t have gone, or consuming something that wasn’t good for us, how much better our life could have been.
As we go back to the book of Genesis we learn that God gave Adam and Eve a diet in Genesis 1:29. When did God give them that diet? Immediately after He had created them!
This diet God gave them consisted of 100% raw, garden sourced plant foods, the very foods science confirms our physical body was designed to be nourished with.
However, in Genesis 3:1-6 that old serpent the devil comes along and entices Eve to try something “new” (the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil) and she yielded, ate of the forbidden fruit, then gave some to Adam, and he partook. And we all know the result – sin entered the world.
“Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned…For as by one man’s [Adam’s] disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one [Jesus] shall many be made righteous…That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”
(Romans 5:12, 19, 21)
Our Enemy Is Still Trying To Get Us To Try Something New
Today, our enemy, that old serpent the devil, is still trying to get us to try something new — something that is detrimental to our health! — like cigarettes, beer, wine, liquor, soda pop, candy, sugar desserts, cooked animal flesh and dairy, and we could go on.
And what has been the result? Sickness abounds!
Most of the prayer requests in our churches are for sickness, while the cost of treating all this sickness is bankrupting not only our own pocketbooks, but the pocketbook of our nation.
The more we spend treating the symptoms of these physical problems the worse the health of our people.
In contrast, are you my dear friend willing to try something new that is good for you?
If you are not on The Hallelujah Diet, may I encourage you to do so. It’s a diet and lifestyle similar to the one God gave Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden some 6,000 years ago, and the diet I turned to 36 years ago that restored my health.
Your health, length of life, and years of service to Jesus depends on having a body fit for the Master’s use!
And if you have only religion and not Jesus, may you today accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour!
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.”
(See Romans 10:9-13)
With Jesus in our hearts and a body fit for the Master’s use, what an exciting position to be in as we enter the New Year 2012.
Rhonda and I wish you and yours a very blessed, healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year 2012!
Next week, the good Lord willing and if the creeks don’t rise too high, we will bring you another exciting and informative Hallelujah Health Tip.
Rev. Malkmus Challenged on True Meaning of Christmas
Dec 26th
Last week I wrote an article titled “The True Meaning of Christmas”, which produced lots of comments and email responses. This first letter challenged what I had written:
“George, You have a great health message the world desperately needs, but to hear you don’t understand that Christmas is a pagan tradition made up by men and not by God is disheartening. Only God can establish Holy Days, Feast Days, and special Sabbaths on which we can celebrate and worship Him. For good reason God has kept hidden the date which Jesus was really born.” William
William, You are absolutely right when you say that the date of Jesus’ birth is unknown, and that the day we celebrate Christmas was originally a pagan holiday.
But I think it is kind of neat the way the world has turned what was originally a pagan holiday into a day we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Though we don’t know the exact date Jesus was born, we do know that He was born.
When Rhonda and I celebrate Christ’s birth on Christmas Day we are not observing a pagan holiday, but rather celebrating the birth of the One who left heaven’s glory, took on a fleshly body, born in a lowly stable, in order to eventually go to an old rugged cross where He would shed His blood in complete payment for our sins.
Though we do not know for sure on what day Jesus was born, we do enjoy and appreciate that there is a day set aside each year to remember our Saviour’s birth. The bible tells us that that when Jesus was born, the angels, shepherds and wise men all came to celebrate the birth of Jesus, should we do less?
This past Sunday morning, Christmas morning 2011, Rhonda and I were in church with about 800 others singing “Oh, come, let us adore him, Oh, come, let us adore him, Oh, come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord.”
The pastor brought an outstanding Christmas message from the second chapter of the Gospel of Luke, and at the conclusion of the service over a dozen accepted Christ as Saviour. I really feel sad for those Christians who fail to celebrate the birth of Christ on what we today call “Christmas Day”. They are missing so many wonderful and exciting blessings!
Many Other Letters Received
“Dear George, you really hit the right point. In our church here in Indonesia we also preach about Jesus whose birthday we celebrate at Christmas time. Thank you for sharing “The True Meaning of Christmas” and reminding us of the real reason for the season. You shared some very powerful truths.” Health Minister Ichsan G., Indonesia
“Your article on “The True Meaning of Christmas was both interesting and timely. God bless you and Rhonda and all those at Hallelujah Acres with good health and continued success as you enlighten those Christians who don’t understand that ‘You don’t have to be sick’” Charles
“Dear George, Thank you so very much for the detailed article regarding “The True Meaning of Christmas.” Jesus has been my Lord and Saviour ever since I came to understand through the study of God’s Word about God’s plan of salvation when I was in my 20’s so many, many years ago. Oh what great joy came into my heart when I asked Jesus to come into my heart and experienced with thankfulness the forgiveness of ALL my sins. And the second greatest event in my life after salvation was when I started implementing the Genesis 1:29 Diet (Hallelujah Diet) and I learned the added gift of grace God had given me of a self-healing body. Much love, and a Merry Christmas to you, Rhonda, and all at Hallelujah Acres.” Monika H.
“Thank you for sharing ‘The True Meaning of Christmas’. It helps to remind us of the reason for the season.” Art B.
“Rev. Malkmus, the scriptures you used in your timely article ‘The True Meaning of Christmas’ were the very Scriptures God used to bring me to Jesus. It was especially joyous reading them in a format where so many others would have opportunity to hear them and hopefully come to know Jesus as I have come to know Him. May God richly bless you!” Felice
“Thank you Pastor George for telling this wonderful Christmas story again. This is the story that is seldom told nowadays and even the Christian needs to be reminded and refreshed again and again. Christmas show us God’s love in action – ‘For GOD so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life’ – John 3:16” Christine C.
Can The Hallelujah Diet Help Mental Illness?
Dec 24th
“My husband and I have been involved in alternative health care for 25 years. However, he has been diagnosed with four different mental illnesses including schizophrenia, a personality disorder. My question to you is: Can he remedy these disorders by adopting The Hallelujah Diet? I realize that you cannot diagnose or prescribe, but your comments would be greatly appreciated. If so, which foods help the brain the most? Thank you kindly for your prayerful reply.”
Jennifer, Idaho
Editor Responds
Hi Jennifer, though we cannot diagnose or prescribe, we have found that The Hallelujah Diet, along with suggested supplementation, is foundational in supporting the body’s ability to heal itself regardless of the problem (physical or mental).
With mental or emotional disorders it is imperative we supply the body with Omega 3 fats. I personally use a quarter cup of ground flax seeds and a teaspoon of Pharmax Finest Pure Fish Oil in my green smoothie each morning to help make sure my mental abilities are functioning optimally.
These Omega 3 fats are essential for supporting brain function. I would encourage you to get a copy of the book “The Omega-3 Connection” by Andrew Stoll, M.D. In his book, Dr. Stoll discusses the critical role Omega-3 plays in dealing with a host of brain issues.
