Last Hallelujah Weekend of 2010 Great Success
Dec 6th
The first weekend of each month here at Hallelujah Acres we offer folks many opportunities to learn how to improve their health by lecture and demonstrations. Most months we come close to filling our 400 seat auditorium with people who have traveled from across America and often from foreign lands to attend.
This past weekend we had a great crowd despite the inclement weather – imagine it getting cold in December! We had folks here from as far away as California to the west, Texas and Florida to the south, New York to the north and believe it or not, Russia.
There were about twenty in both Rhonda’s Culinary class on Friday evening and the Where Do We Go From Here class which followed Rev. Malkmus’ “God’s Way to Ultimate Health” seminar on Saturday morning.
As always, the most exciting part of each of Rev. Malkmus’ seminars are the testimonies shared by those in attendance, telling of all the physical and sometimes emotional and psychological problems that have simply disappeared after they had adopted the Hallelujah Diet and Lifestyle.
This past Saturday was no exception as there were testimonies of cancers gone, diabetes gone, arthritis gone, and fibromyalgia gone, along with numerous other physical and emotional problems that had disappeared, including numerous reports of weight loss, several reporting weight losses of over 100 pounds.
Next Month on the Second Weekend!
Our next Hallelujah Weekend here at Hallelujah Acres in Shelby, North Carolina is scheduled for the weekend of January 7th and 8th, 2011. We almost always hold our Hallelujah Weekends on the first Saturday of the month, but that falls on New Year’s Eve and Day in 2011 so we have pushed the events to the following weekend.
The first seminars for the New Year are often the best attended as people resolve to start the New Year right by taking steps to improve their diet and lifestyle. If you would like experience health in 2011 mark January 7th and 8th on your calendar and begin making plans to attend. Encourage a friend or loved one to join you.
Give The Gift Of Fitness!
Dec 4th
For the past several issues of the Hallelujah Health Tip, we have been sharing diet-related Christmas gift giving suggestions.
However, there is more to having a healthy body than just proper nutrition. Exercise is extremely important!
As a boy, exercise was a natural part of each day (the pastime of watching TV did not exist). From kindergarten through 6th grade, I walked about a mile to school each way. Junior high was about a two-mile walk each way, and high school was a 3.5 mile walk each way.
After school I delivered newspapers by foot to nearly 100 customers. I played stick ball in a local sandlot after school. We didn’t have the money to buy gloves, bats and balls, and so we played with an old broom stick and a tennis ball.
In high school I delivered prescriptions for a local pharmacy by bicycle 6 days a week after swimming a mile in a city pool most days after school. I earned three major letters in swimming in high school.
After graduating from high school I went into the navy and sat at a desk on board a ship for years with little exercise. After my time in the navy I had an office job where I once again sat most of the time. Then as a pastor, sat most of the time in an office or stood in a pulpit preaching.
From age 18 to age 42, exercise played a very insignificant roll in my life.
In 1976, at the age of 42, after being told I had cancer, I changed my diet, started a walking program, and saw my cancer simply disappear in less than a year and without any medical attention. I even purchased a treadmill during these years so that I could walk/run no matter the weather.
But I was not a strong person, especially in my upper body. My abs were soft, my triceps and biceps were pretty puny and I had very little strength in my arms or upper body.
Then about three years ago I was introduced to the Fit 10 exercise system. I started using it most every day of the week and miracles started to take place in my upper body. My abs became rock hard, I increased my triceps and biceps two inches and my chest four inches. I had a strong handshake and was even able to beat teenagers in arm wrestling.
If I can increase my physical strength at 77 years of age, you can too! Here are some inexpensive healthy pieces of exercise equipment that you might like to consider as Christmas gifts for those you love… or even for yourself.

Lives Changed From Africa to Virginia
Nov 30th
Every week I receive letters from subscribers to the Hallelujah Health Tip. I find so many of them inspirational, especially those that tell how The Hallelujah Diet has improved someone’s health. So please keep those letters coming, as they greatly encourage and inspire me as well as the others who read them.
“Our Rev. Koyejo passed your book ‘God’s Way to Ultimate Health’ to me just last week and I can’t stop reading it. After reading the book I quickly adopted The Hallelujah Diet. Your book…. should be propagated all over the world. Please extend your seminars to Africa (Nigeria) and to the uttermost parts of the world.
“I seize the opportunity to thank you and congratulate you on this masterpiece of literature which has saved the lives of thousands of God’s people.”
Dominic A., Lagos, Nigeria
“Praise and thanks to our Creator for His grace. I had the privilege to get hold of your book ‘God’s Way to Ultimate Health.’ What a truth! Unfortunately I grew up in a home where I was given cooked food and meat to eat every day. I am now 69 years old. Due to the meat I have consumed all my life, arthritis has claimed my hands.
“Your book was an eye-opener to me and I can only praise our Savior for bringing these precious truths to my knowledge. I have been a born-again believer since I was 11. Our Lord has a high calling for me, but all the time it felt like something was missing – until now, because now I can give sick people real hope for this life and even more important, hope for the next life through Jesus Christ.
“When I see all the pain and agony people are suffering here in Africa, I can see in your country there is an awakening as to the cause of physical problems and how to make people well through good nutrition and without drugs. I am praying that this information will grow worldwide.
“I want to be a blessing to the people here in my country who are killing themselves with what they are placing on their forks. It would be such a blessing for me to bless others by sharing with them ‘God’s Way to Ultimate Health.”
Hannes P., Gootfontien, Namibia, Africa
“I want to share with you what I believe is good news. My husband is 53 years old and was diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer two years ago. Initially we did some low dose chemo and radiation treatments in preparation to remove a rectal tumor.
“While recovering from the chemo and radiation and before the surgery, we read your book ‘God’s Way to Ultimate Health.’ We prayed about it and were convinced that we should stop medical treatments and that The Hallelujah Diet was the way to go. My husband refused further treatments and had the port removed from his chest.
“My husband did not follow the diet very well for the first year. When scanned one year after refusing treatments, we learned that the cancer had spread to his lungs. This motivated my husband to go faithfully on The Hallelujah Diet. He has now been on The Hallelujah Recovery Diet about 15 months.
“We learned this week the cancer has spread into the bone. I asked the doctor if my husband’s cancer had grown as expected, or faster or slower than expected. He said that for someone with metastatic cancer, the kind my husband has, it has grown remarkably slower than expected.
“That greatly encouraged us because we were beginning to think that his cancer was just too far gone for nutrition to work. Since attending the Women’s Retreat there at Hallelujah Acres in October, I learned about green smoothie. We have added two or three green smoothies to The Hallelujah Recovery Diet. We now have renewed hope for the healing of this cancer – at least keeping it at bay. The Hallelujah Diet has significantly reduced the progression of the cancer.
“I know that the diet has allowed my husband to maintain a good quality of life over what he would have had if he had accepted the chemotherapy. One of the greatest risks with chemotherapy is that it does so much damage to the immune system … resulting in death. This has happened to many [people], including folks we’ve know that were declared ‘cancer free’ just before dying from the infection picked up in the hospital.
“My husband is the pastor of a small church here in Virginia. In spite of the cancer, he is still able to preach every Sunday morning and evening service as well as the mid-week service. We have two teenagers still at home and a grandson. We are so thankful to God for you Dr. Malkmus and Hallelujah Acres and for all the research and testimonies and encouragement you share.
“By the way, I have also been on The Hallelujah Diet and have lost 35 pounds and my health is now wonderful. I walk 3 miles 3 to 4 times and week and praise God every step of the way.”
