The World’s Diet Is Dangerously Low In Fiber

In recent Health Tips we have learned that in order to properly digest food, the food must contain fiber. The foods most consume today are lacking in fiber, and when we consume foods lacking in fiber, physical problems manifest.
Fiber — An Absolute Necessity For Proper Digestion
Garden source foods are the only foods on planet earth that contain FIBER!
This means that any food that comes from any source outside of the garden is a food devoid of FIBER.
Animal source foods are completely devoid of fiber. This, along with other factors, makes animal source foods a major cause of the digestive and colon problems so many people suffer with today.
For years there has been a number of writers promoting a “low carb, high protein” diet. This type of diet is high in animal flesh (which is totally devoid of fiber) and low in carbohydrates (which are high in fiber).
A major reason why these diets are so dangerous is because they are seriously lacking in fiber.
Refined Carbohydrates Contain No Fiber
Another “food” consumed by most people in very large quantities today is refined carbohydrates — which are also devoid of fiber.
Refined carbohydrates, because they are devoid of fiber, are more than just another cause of constipation. They are a burden on the liver and intestines and increase the risk of chronic disease.
God’s plan for the proper digestion of foods requires fiber, but both refined carbohydrates and animal source foods are devoid of fiber.
Once a person understands this fact, it helps them understand what foods they must consume to promote good health and what foods cause their health to decline.
It is interesting to note that low carb diets cite carbohydrates for today’s obesity epidemic.
Yet when we look at the history of mankind, we learn that for almost 6,000 years people have thrived on a high carbohydrate, low protein diet — and most were NOT overweight!
Here’s why: Until recently most people in the world nourished their bodies with UNREFINED carbohydrates – not with refined carbohydrates.
What has changed?
Why are 60% of Americans overweight and an ever increasing number of our youth diagnosed as “obese”?
The problem is NOT naturally occurring, unrefined carbohydrates (which contain loads of plant fiber), but rather REFINED carbohydrates — which contain virtually NO fiber.
For example, a grain of wheat is an unrefined carbohydrate, while “enriched” flour made from that grain of wheat (which has had its fiber removed) is a refined carbohydrate.
What’s the difference?
- Unrefined carbohydrates are vitally important in meeting the nutritional and fiber needs of our bodies.
- Refined carbohydrates are devastating to our body, causing myriad physical breakdowns.
Over 60% Of Americans Are Overweight
Today, what is one of the primary concerns people have regarding their physical bodies?
Is it not concern over being overweight?
And what products are constantly being advertised to combat this problem? Are they not weight loss products claiming to help a person lose that excess weight?
Overweight and obese people are vulnerable targets for health care fraud because a high percentage of the people in our country are desperate to lose weight.
So when “low carb, high protein” diets came on the scene telling Americans that they could eat all the protein and cholesterol they wanted and lose weight, many jumped on the bandwagon.
Sadly, these weight loss plans trashed an entire food group. But of even greater importance, they trashed the diet God told man he should consume in Genesis 1:29, the blueprint for The Hallelujah Diet.
That fact alone should have triggered a huge red flag because the Genesis 1:29 diet is high in carbohydrates and low in protein.
Ask yourself… does God know best with regard to how man should nourish his body?
Or is it man’s job to know best?
Low Carbohydrate Diets And Science
Science reveals that a high fiber diet of complex, unrefined carbohydrates and low protein is the safest choice for long-term health.
By contrast, The World Health Organization, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and American Dietetic Association, all warn of the long-term risks of a low-carb, high protein diet.
Those who promote a low-carb diet claim that carbohydrates raise blood sugar levels and thus insulin levels. They then go on to claim that elevated insulin levels trigger the storage of fat. Thus they conclude that it is carbohydrates that make people fat.
What they fail to reveal is that it is the REFINED carbohydrates that are the culprit here and not the unrefined.
The results of many years of well documented research reveal the huge benefits of a plant-based diet of unrefined carbohydrates that is low saturated fat diet.
In addition, scientists have abundant evidence showing that the time proven, plant-based diets of large population groups also prevent disease while increasing life span.
Ever Since Adam And Eve
Ever since God gave Adam and Eve the original high carbohydrate/low protein, plant-based diet in Genesis 1:29, most of the world’s population has relied primarily on plant foods for the bulk of their diet.
Carbohydrates such as fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, grains, beans, and legumes have formed the foundation of the traditional diets for most regions of the world.
Sadly, over the past couple of decades, due to the strong influence of the United States on the world, many who once consumed these traditional diets have adopted our standard American diet (SAD) of highly refined carbohydrates and high protein. Doing so has resulted in a serious erosion of health around the world.
Today we see a dramatic increase in obesity and death rates due to heart disease and cancer in many countries of the world, just as it has and continues to produce in the United States.
Here’s the truth of the matter…
If the body does not receive sufficient carbohydrates, it will convert protein and/or fat into glucose (a carbohydrate), to meet its carbohydrate needs.
So why not get your carbs from the plant?! Especially when getting them from animal source foods comes with a lot of negative baggage.
Not All Carbohydrates Are Created Equal
A good example of a good carb and a bad carb would be a potato and a French fry. Here, food processors have turned a heart healthy unrefined carbohydrate (the unprocessed potato) into an artery clogging French fry.
Research scientists at Harvard University have discovered that individuals who eat a diet high in unrefined carbohydrates significantly decrease their risk of diabetes and heart disease – while individuals who eat a diet high in refined carbohydrates more than double their risk of heart disease.
How To Tell A Good Carb From A Bad One
If a carbohydrate comes packaged as nature produced it – it is a good carbohydrate. You can be assured it is safe and good for you! All plant source foods in their natural state are good carbohydrates.
If a carbohydrate is packaged by man, it is a bad carb. Bad carbohydrates include those foods that are refined, fried in fat, dipped in sugar, or have had refined sugar or other artificial ingredients added.
Sickness Is Not God’s Will For His People
The world’s diet is a dangerous diet because it is lacking in fiber and the nutrients the body needs to build and protect our health, while GOD’s diet is loaded with fiber and provides the nutrients the body needs to produce optimal health and protect it from disease.
Sickness is not “God’s will” for his people. (3 John 2)
By consuming the world’s diet we not only destroy our health, but spend huge amounts of money in an effort to restore the health that was destroyed by consuming the world’s diet.
There is a better way than the world’s way of nourishing our God created physical bodies.
That way is God’s way as clearly outlined in Genesis 1:29. AMEN!

The World’s Diet: Cause of Most Physical Problems

The Standard American Diet (SAD) — the diet most Christians consume each and every day of their life — is without any doubt, “The World’s Diet”. I can boldly make this statement because it stands in sharp contrast to what God told us we should eat:
“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed (vegetable), which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat (food).”
(Genesis 1:29)
Fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts are the foods God tells us we should eat and they are found exclusively in the garden. No question about it, these are the only foods God tells us we should nourish our bodies with!
But man has chosen to go outside of the garden to obtain his food.
These foods are what Hallelujah Acres refers to as the SAD diet. So if the SAD diet is not “God’s Diet”, whose diet is it? Rhonda likes to call it “Satan’s Alternative Diet” (SAD), because it is in such stark contrast to what God told us we should eat in Genesis 1:29.
Thus the Standard American Diet clearly qualifies for not only being called the “World’s Diet” but also “Satan’s Diet”.
Does the Bible have anything to say about this “World’s SAD Diet” and “Satan’s Alternative Diet”? Absolutely!
Be Not Conformed To This World
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
(Romans 12:2)
Now some might question that this verse in Romans 12:2 has anything to do with what we eat and how we nourish our physical bodies, so I will now quote the verse that precedes it to see if this verse sheds any light on what is being referred to here:
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
(Romans 12:1)
Clearly, Romans 12:2 is directing these instructions to Christians (“brethren”) and is clearly referring to what we have just read in Romans 12:1, because the very first word in Romans 12:2 is the word “And”, which means it is continuing instruction regarding how we are to “present our bodies . . . acceptable unto God.”
There are numerous “so called” nutritional authorities in our society today, some even claiming to be Christian, who promote a diet that includes foods found outside the garden (animal source foods in particular).
What does God have to say about our physical bodies and the teachings of these “so-called” nutritional authorities?
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God (by placing into it harmful substances), him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.”
(1 Corinthians 16-19)
The Standard American Diet – Analyzed
This week I want to begin an analysis of this “world’s diet” which I will refer to as the Standard American Diet (SAD) for the remainder of this article.
But this diet is more than just the Standard American Diet…
…it’s the Standard Canadian Diet.
…the Standard Australian Diet.
…the Standard South African Diet, etc.
In fact, this SAD diet is basically the same diet consumed in most western nations and even many non-western nations today.
This is why there is little difference in the health of the people who adopt this diet no matter what country they live in.
So what’s wrong with the SAD diet?
Why is it so dangerous and destructive to our health?
Let’s start with fiber.
SAD Diet Is A Fiberless Diet
God designed our bodies to function optimally on a diet that contains foods very high in fiber content. This may come as a shock to you, but the SAD diet is almost totally void of any fiber, while the “GOD” diet (God’s Original Diet, Genesis 1:29) is extremely high in fiber.
In fact, garden foods are the only foods that contain fiber.
Fiberless Diets Cause Constipation
Constipation is a serious issue for an extremely high percentage of those on the world’s SAD fiberless diet.
Eighty percent of all Americans experience constipation problems at one time or another and some experience chronic constipation. The reason: – without fiber, peristalsis is seriously hindered.
Peristalsis is the contraction and relaxation of muscles which propel food contents by means of waves through the gastrointestinal tract.
On the SAD fiberless diet, lack of fiber hinders peristaltic movement of the food through the digestive tract. That is why doctors recommend laxatives for a person experiencing constipation problems, while others encourage adding daily fiber to compensate for the fiberless diet they are consuming.
God’s Original Diet (GOD), the one God told us we should all consume in Genesis 1:29, is loaded with fiber. When a person converts from the world’s SAD diet to GOD’s diet, constipation problems almost always cease and as long as they stay on the GOD diet, they will not experience constipation ever again.
There Is More To Learn About Fiber
Between where food enters our body at the mouth and where it exits the body as feces, it must pass through approximately 30 feet of tubing. This tubing (the digestive tract) has many pockets, loops, and bends.
To move food rapidly without putrefying requires fiber. When a person consumes a diet comprised exclusively of fiber-rich garden source foods, like The Hallelujah Diet, the food moves very rapidly through the digestive tract, completing the 30-foot journey in about 16-20 hours.
In contrast, foods that are devoid of fiber move very sluggishly through that 30-feet of tubing, taking up to 3-4 days to exit.
Foods that are lacking fiber would include almost everything the average person on the SAD diet consumes each and every day.
For instance, all animal source foods (including flesh and dairy) contain absolutely no fiber.
All refined grains, including refined flour, refined white and brown table sugars, table salt, etc. are devoid of fiber.
SAD-ly, these are the foods that comprise the majority of the world’s diet.
Carnivorous Animal’s Intestinal Tract Compared To Humans
The length of the human digestive tract is approximately three times longer than that of a carnivorous animal and consists of many pockets, loops and bends.
A carnivorous animal’s intestinal tract is very smooth and without any pockets, loops, or bends.
There is a reason for this great difference.
When consumed by a carnivorous animal, the fiberless, unchewed chunks of raw flesh pass quickly into a very strong solution of hydrochloric acid where the flesh is broken down into a form the animal can utilize for its nutritional needs.
The waste is rapidly eliminated before it has opportunity to putrefy.
When humans consume animal flesh, because it contains no fiber, it moves very sluggishly through our 30-foot-long digestive tract, complete with its pockets, loops, and bends.
It can take as long as 3-4 days for animal flesh to make the journey through the human body!
Something worth noting here is the internal temperature of the human physical body – is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.
Raw Hamburger At 100 Degrees
If you left a pound of ground beef on your kitchen counter, cranked the thermostat to 100 degrees, closed the kitchen door and left for 3 to 4 days, you would return to discover a terrible odor.
What do you think could be causing that terrible odor?
It is the odor of the putrefying and rotting flesh that has been sitting in that 100 degree temperature for the previous 3-4 days.
If flesh putrefies and rots on the kitchen counter in a 100 degree atmosphere, what do you think animal flesh does on its 3 to 4 day journey through your digestive tract at the same temperature?
It putrefies! And the stench escapes through the pores in your skin — most people do not realize that the body odor they are experiencing is the end result of placing flesh foods into their body.
Incidentally, this editor has had no need of a deodorant since he stopped consuming animal flesh 36 years ago.
Consuming animal flesh produces many other problems besides body odor.
Almost all digestive tract problems are the result of consuming fiberless animal flesh foods – diverticulitis, diverticulosis, crohn’s disease, colitis, ulcerative colitis, Irritable Bowl Syndrome (IBS), and even colon cancer.
And a person who tries to be careful about consuming only grass fed, organically grown animal flesh has the same potential of developing these intestinal problems, because organic flesh is just as lacking in fiber and dangerous as commercially grown flesh.
By contrast, it is almost impossible for a person on a 100% plant based diet to experience any of these animal flesh related problems.
How Human Digestion Works
God’s plan for the proper nourishment of the human physical body is the consumption of plant-sourced foods.
When plant-based, fiber-rich foods move through the human body’s 30-foot digestive tract, they digest quickly (in 30 to 90 minutes). Propelled by the fiber, these foods complete their digestive journey in just 16-20 hours.
The most dangerous diets today are low carb, high protein diets. Some justify this type of diet using Genesis 9:3 as proof that God “changed” his mind about man’s diet after the flood, allowing him to eat foods of animal origin.
But was the animal flesh allowance in Genesis 9:3 meant to supersede God’s original diet in Genesis 1:29?
Note that the Genesis 9:3 diet was given only after all plant foods had been destroyed by the flood in Genesis chapter 7 and notice particularly verse 19:
“And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were COVERED.” (Genesis 7:19) “And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.” (Genesis 7:24)
I personally believe that Genesis 9:3’s allowance of flesh foods was only for survival purposes because all plant source foods had been destroyed by the flood.
I do not believe that Genesis 9:3 was meant as new instruction as to how man was to nourish his body — just look at all the great harm animal source foods cause the human body.
Dr. T. Colin Campbell, in his book, “The China Project” concludes, after the most comprehensive research project ever undertaken by the scientific community on the relationship of diet to disease:
“Only small intakes of animal products were associated with significant increases in chronic degenerative disease.”
Another book containing incredible scientific documentation showing the dangers of animal source foods is John Robbins’ book, “Diet for A New America”.
And then there is Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s book, “Eat to Live”. Dr. Fuhrman, using a basically raw plant foods diet and the elimination of all animal source foods, is seeing almost 100% of his 5,000 annual patients healed of whatever physical problems they were experiencing.
Here at Hallelujah Acres we have received tens-of-thousands of testimonies from people who eliminated all animal source foods and adopted a 100%, predominately raw, plant-based diet, reporting they have recovered from over 170 different physical problems, including diverticulitis, diverticulosis, crohn’s disease, colitis, ulcerative colitis, Irritable Bowl Symptom (IBS), and even colon cancer.
Note: Because raw vegetables irritate the colon lining and often complicate colon issues, those with such issues have found that by juicing veggies (which removes the irritating fiber), they are able to obtain the nutrients necessary for rebuilding the colon wall without causing further irritation. During this healing process, cooking these vegetables softens the fiber and prevents the irritation raw veggies cause.
Isn’t it about time churches and the Christian community in general stopped promoting the world’s diet and returned to the “GOD” Diet – God’s Original Diet?
If this would happen, we could almost totally eliminate prayers for physical healing of disease within the church and we could devote those prayers to the saving of the lost. Also, all the money saved trying to recover from these diseases could provide more money to support missions.

Is Health Insurance A Good Investment?

Most people are more concerned about having a good health insurance policy than they are about taking care of their own health — which would negate their need for health insurance in the first place!
Sadly, this is exactly the case for God’s people in our various churches today.
I believe you will agree with me that it is not a pretty sight. Take for example the prayer requests in a typical prayer meeting. Are they not requests for the healing of all those sick people in the church, along with their friends and loved ones? Such requests dominate 90% or even more of all prayer requests in the church!
Next question: Are we seeing the health of God’s people being improved as a result of all these prayers — and if not, why not?
Now for a moment consider what God’s people in our churches do next after prayers have appeared to fail.
Are they not encouraged to go to a doctor?
And what happens next? They end up submitting themselves to toxic drugs, radiation, or the removal of some body part!
Do these medical modalities bring healing… or do they all too often complicate the problem and further damage the person’s health?
Friend, if we keep doing what we have always done, we will keep getting the same results.
Have you ever considered the cost involved in going to doctors with our all-too-many health problems? I am sure you have noticed that it is extremely expensive – often bankrupting a person without health insurance.
And for those with insurance, have you considered the cost of that insurance?
Figures just released by the Keiser Foundation reveal that annual health insurance premiums increased last year by 9%. This increase brings the annual cost for health insurance, for family coverage, to more than $15,000 annually.
This sum is either paid for by the family directly to the insurance company or indirectly by an employer.
Most people do not realize that, even if paid indirectly by an employer, the employee still pays for health insurance by receiving a lower salary. Insurance premiums must be paid for by someone, either directly or indirectly.
Now let’s put the cost of Health insurance into perspective.
In some areas of the country the median price of a home is $150,000 and for many it takes 30 years to pay off the mortgage. Add at least another $150,000 for the interest paid on that mortgage and a person ends up paying over $300,000 for their $150,000 home.
Yet in that same 30 years, a family pays $450,000 in health insurance premiums. That is nearly a half-million dollars!
I have a pastor friend who is paying $12,000 annually in health insurance premiums for just he and his wife. He pastors a small country church and if it wasn’t for the church providing their home, there is no way they could afford that insurance.
Let’s Summarize…
When a person gets sick we ask God in prayer to remove the sickness. When prayers appear to have failed, we go to a doctor who uses medical modalities that often complicate the problem and make matters worse. We have also learned that all of these medical modalities cost an exorbitant amount in both money and state of health.
Yet in spite of all these negatives, people have such fear of becoming sick (especially developing cancer), that they are willing to spend huge amounts for so-called health insurance for use in the event they do get sick.
But is this huge expense necessary or a huge waste of our money and hindrance to our health?
How I Have Dealt With My Health and Health Insurance
Thirty-six years ago, after being told I had cancer at the age of 42 (and after refusing all medical treatments for that cancer), I turned to Evangelist Lester Roloff for help.
He confirmed that I had done the right thing in refusing medical treatments. He said that if I wanted to get well I needed to go a different route – I needed to change my diet.
Thankfully I listened to Brother Roloff and eliminated the Standard American Diet (SAD) he said had caused of my cancer. Next, I adopted God’s Genesis 1:29 diet which he said would restore my health.
As a result of making that diet change, healing began immediately. Within a year, my cancer was gone.
It wasn’t long after that experience I realized I could control my health by eating a healthy diet and living a healthy lifestyle. That led me ask why I should continue to pay for an extremely expensive health insurance policy I didn’t need.
That is when I dropped my health insurance coverage.
In fact, I have not had any form of health insurance for the past 36 years — nor have I had any need for any.
You may think that a crazy thing to do, but I figure my savings by not carrying health insurance these past 36 years to be in the $150,000 to $200,000 range.
Is Health Insurance A Good Investment?
Health Insurance is not an investment in good health, because it has absolutely nothing to do with “health”.
Rather it has everything to do with “disease” and sickness. Here’s the proof… You won’t collect a dime from that health insurance policy as long as you remain in health.
It would really be much more appropriate to call it “disease insurance.”
Health Insurance has nothing to do with preventing disease. It only kicks in when a person gets sick — and then it rarely pays the whole bill!
Our nation’s new health care policy will not change this scenario. All it will do is force everyone, whether they want health insurance coverage or not (or have need of it or not) into a system that has utterly failed to bring health in the past.
Not to mention, under this new system, the cost of health care will continue to rise.
Health Insurance is consuming an ever-larger share of employer costs, forcing many companies to eliminate pay raises and pass on more of the medical costs to workers. These costs are forcing some companies to stop providing coverage for their employees altogether.
What is causing health insurance costs to rise so dramatically? Mandates associated with America’s new health care policy! It requires that insurance companies pay for pre-existing conditions and requires insurance companies to extend coverage to children (really adults) until the age of 26.
This additional coverage, the expenses involved in paying for this coverage, and the ever-increasing cost of health care and the increasing amount of sickness people are experiencing are all causing insurance premiums to skyrocket.
Eventually, it will bankrupt our nation.
Some Solutions
1. Few people know that from 1980 until 1986 I sold a health insurance policy for the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE). Of the 1,200 insurance agents selling this policy for the NASE, most years I was the lead salesman.
I did it by showing the business owner that by taking a higher deductible, they could more than pay the cost of that higher deductible if they got sick, with the amount they were saving by a lower premium. Where most insurance agents were pushing a $100 deductible, I was suggesting a $1,000 or even higher deductible.
That made sense to the small business owner then, and I believe makes sense today. In the event of a catastrophic health problem, most small business owners can come up with the deductible as long as the policy picks up and pays for the potential catastrophic bill. In today’s dollars, the $1,000 deductible I was promoting would probably be $10,000.
2. Others, though risky in the beginning, could take that $15,000 insurance premium (or whatever the premium amount might be) and place it in an interest bearing account (An untouchable account except for medical expenses). If they went the first year without any sickness or injury, they would have $15,000 in that account to pay medical expenses.
After two years without sickness the amount in that account would increase to $30,000 and each year the amount would grow – $45,000 by the third year, $60,000 by the fourth year, and in ten years it would grow to $150,000. Now I already said that this is risky, but younger people and couples are not considered high risk.
If a person chooses this route, it is important to have some kind of accident insurance as accidents are something we have no control over as we do with disease. Sadly, strictly accident policies are hard to find. If you know of a policy that has no limits on accident claims after a deductible, please let me know about it.
However, I would not ever consider going the route of no health insurance if I and my family were not on a health promoting and disease preventing diet and lifestyle similar to The Hallelujah Diet. Prevention is the key to outstanding health! An optimal diet and lifestyle will almost totally eliminate the risk of disease.

Is There A Better Way?

America, though it spends more money per capita on “Health Care” than any other nation on Earth, is close to being the sickest nation on Earth!
- More money is spent on health care in the USA than in any other nation in the world, and a greater percentage of total income in the nation is spent on health care in the USA than in any United Nations member state.
- The World Health Organization (WHO), in 2000, ranked the U.S. health care system as the highest in cost, 37th in overall performance, and 72nd in overall level of health.
- In 2009, the United States federal, state and local governments, corporations, and individuals, together spent $2.5 trillion on health care. That amount breaks down to $8,047 for every man, woman, and child in the country each year. This amount represented 17.3% of the GDP in 2008.
- Health insurance costs are rising faster than wages or inflation, and medical causes were cited by about half of bankruptcy filers in the United States in 2001.
How Is This Health Care System Working For You?
With National Health Care having been signed into law and with the constantly increasing cost of health care, are we getting the results and seeing the improved health promised by our current government?
Of course, the answer is a resounding “NO”!
If any business in the business world provided such poor results, it would go out of business. But not the health care business. The worse the results being obtained, the higher the cost, and the more it thrives.
Is there not something wrong with this picture?
Yet our government continues to subsidize this failed industry with tax payer dollars (yours and mine) which will force every citizen, whether they pay taxes or not, or want to be a part of it or not, into this failed system.
From where I sit, I am constantly receiving emails from people who have given this system every opportunity to fix their broken bodies — but their results prove the current health care system’s efforts are a dismal failure.
Letters Tell of Health Care Failures
“Good morning Rev. Malkmus, I am so up to my ears in trying to feel better. I have been dealing with health issues since 2003. Here’s a quick rundown on what happened to me:
In 2003 I took a drug for what the doctor said was a bladder infection. I took only one drug ‘Floxin’, one pill, one time, and that one pill has destroyed my life. I ceased being that happy active mom and wife. I have spent the past eight years looking for help from the medical community.
I’m so tired of going to doctors looking for answers and finding none that I could scream. This one pill, taken only one time, has affected my whole central nervous system. I feel on edge every second of every day. It is awful. I cry myself to sleep most nights thinking of how my life used to be before taking that pill.
I am a Christian and have prayed to the point I don’t even know how to pray anymore. Rev. Malkmus is there anything at all that you can think of that can help me or do you know of any doctor that might be able to shed some light on how to overcome the affect this drug has had on my life and body?”

“Dr. Malkmus, My 57-year old husband has advanced stage 4 prostate cancer with bone metastasis. He was sent home in November 2010 to die as the doctors said there was nothing more they could do for him.
Over the years and especially since last fall I have encouraged him to go vegan but it was not an easy sell despite the fact that we are both ordained ministers. We should have been eating to live – not the opposite as the world is doing, living to eat – and we have repented.
In January 2011 I did convince him to begin vegetable juicing and it started to turn around his cancer. His PSA fell from 348 to 112. However, he still insisted on some animal products and as a result in April his PSA started to rise again.
We are both on leave from ministry at this time as he is very ill. His left side, especially his left leg is losing circulation. The doctors want to give him more radiation but he says ‘no’.
I have just completed Dr. Campbell’s three online courses from Cornell on plant based nutrition and one of my instructors directed me to you and the Hallelujah Acres website. I really thank you for all you are doing in the field of biblical nutrition. I am astonished by all that I have learned.
We both lost our first spouses to cancer. My first husband and the father of my two children died at age 33 of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Now my second husband has terminal cancer. I believe God has a nutritional ministry in mind for the two of us once he recovers.”

In My Seminars…
In my seminars I will often ask questions of those attending. Here are a few of those questions that I ask:
How many of you have had a friend, loved one, or family member who was diagnosed with cancer?
- Almost every hand in the room goes up. Then I ask how many of those who had cancer died after being treated for their cancer. It is hard sometimes to see much difference between the numbers of those who had cancer and those who died following cancer treatment.
How many of you, or a friend, family member, or loved one were prescribed a drug for the physical problem being experienced?
- The response is almost 100% of those present.
How many had an adverse reaction to a doctor prescribed drug?
- Once again, almost every hand was raised.
How many of you, or a friend, family member, or loved one was cured of the physical problem they were given the drug to correct to the extent they no longer had need of that drug?
- Hardly ever does a hand get raised.
The Two Letters Above
For a moment, let’s reflect on the two letters above and the results to the questions I ask in my seminars to see how they compare.
In the letter from Marilyn, both her spouse and her husband’s spouse died following cancer treatment and now her current husband is in such critical condition after medical treatments, they have sent him home to die.
Is that not the same results indicated by the show of hands when I asked in my seminar “How many have a friend, loved one, or family member who was diagnosed with cancer?”
And when I asked “How many of those died after treatment,” did not it produce the same results as Marilyn and her husband experienced with their first spouses?
Now consider Jackie’s reaction after taking just one pill one time. Not only did it not correct the problem but produced new symptoms that have destroyed her life for the past eight years.
Isn’t that similar to results expressed by the thousands of people in my seminars who have not seen their physical problem cured as a result of taking a drug?
The World’s Way
What I have shared above is the world’s way of dealing with physical problems!
I find it so amazing that the world’s approach to physical problems today produces no better results than the results the doctors of the Bible 2,000 years ago:
“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse.” (Mark 5:25-6)
Friends, the result people obtained going the world’s way in Bible times is the same today when they go the world’s way in their attempt to correct physical problems.
So the logical question one must ask is: “Is there a better way?”
Thankfully there is indeed a better way — God’s way!
God’s Way
Let’s see if the Bible can shed some light on the subject…
God Created Man – “AND THE LORD GOD formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7)
God Placed Man In A Garden – “AND THE LORD GOD planted a garden eastward in Eden: and there he put the man whom he had formed.” (Genesis 2:8)
God Told Man What To Eat – “AND GOD SAID, Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed (vegetable), which is upon the face of the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seek; to you it shall be for meat.” (Genesis 1:29)
Man Charged With Taking Care Of His Own Body – “I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable UNTO GOD, which is your reasonable service.” (Romans 12:1)
Man Told Not To Pursue The World’s Way – “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect WILL OF GOD.” (Romans 12:2)
Consequences Of Going The World’s Way – “Be not deceived, GOD IS NOT MOCKED, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)
So we have messed up! We Christians have been following the “world’s way” instead of God’s way in how we take care of our physical bodies. We have consumed the world’s food and drink, and as a result have become sick, gone to the world’s doctors to get better, taken the world’s drugs, and suffer the same physical and emotional breakdowns as the world and to the same percentages.
Is It Too Late To Change?
For most people it is not too late to change and correct the results they have obtained by doing things the “world’s way.” In fact, almost every physical problem presently being experiencing can be corrected by ceasing to feed the body the world’s way and by starting to nourish it God’s way if the world’s way” has not already done irreversible damage.

Hallelujah Weekend A Tremendous Success

On the first weekend of each month here at Hallelujah Acres we offer folks many opportunities to learn how to improve their health by lecture and demonstration.
In these lectures we teach folks how to restore their health through simple diet and lifestyle changes. By all accounts, this past weekend was a “tremendous success.”
The weekend began with Rhonda’s Friday night Culinary Class, which drew a crowd of 59 people from across America and three from the Philippines. This weekend’s class size was just one person short of the record high of 60.
Then Saturday morning we once again filled our auditorium with folks coming from 14 different states and one foreign country. They were here from as far away as California, Texas, Kansas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, along with all those states that border North Carolina.
The three from the Philippines also were in the Saturday morning seminar and expressed interest in taking The Hallelujah Diet back to the Philippines. We already have trained a medical doctor in the Philippines as a Hallelujah Acres Health Minister, so I am sure she will welcome this pastor and his family to assist her.
As always, the testimonies during the Saturday seminar were astonishing!
Several dozen people shared that after adopting The Hallelujah Diet they saw a multitude of physical problems disappear! These included cancers, diabetes, arthritis, lowered blood pressure and cholesterol, and weight losses. Two told of weight losses of over 100 pounds after making the diet change.
Following the seminar, nearly everyone stayed for the Hallelujah buffet lunch during the Q&A session. There were so many questions that Rhonda and Rev. George continued to answer them for more than an hour after the seminar ended.
Following the seminar, nearly 50 seminar attendees stayed for the three hour “Where Do I Go from Here?” workshop where people learn how to do The Hallelujah Diet at home.
