Great Seminar in New Bern, NC This Past Weekend

This past Friday we drove the six hours from Shelby to New Bern, NC arriving early evening.
Saturday after a beautiful early morning walk along the Neuse River we were at the seminar location by 9:00 to greet the people who had come from many miles around. One lady and her husband had driven down from Virginia to attend the seminar.
In attendance at the seminar was a lady who gave testimony that I had led her to the Lord 42 years ago while pastoring the Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Trenton, North Carolina. In her testimony she went on to say that two months ago she adopted the Hallelujah Diet and was already off all medications and had her health back. I was so thrilled that I had been able to not only bring her Spiritual Life, but also had helped her restore her Physical Health.
After the seminar I was able to spend some time with an old buddy pastor of mine with whom I had great fellowship with while pastoring at Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Brother Bill has been the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in New Bern for over 40 years. We had a great time of reminiscing.
Rhonda and I drove the six hours home after that, arriving before midnight.
We had an incredible day in church yesterday, attending all services: Sunday School, Morning and Evenings Services. Our church has an attendance of 500 to 600 in both the Sunday Morning and Evening services. And I have never heard music like we have in this church. The services begin with a choir of 90 singing with such power it stirs my soul and then the preaching is some of the best I have ever heard in the over 50 years since I gave my heart to Jesus.
Tuesday of this week I am scheduled to have lunch with our local US Congressman and Wednesday lunch with the guests spending the week at our Hallelujah Acres Lifestyle Center in Lake Lure, North Carolina.
Friday we drive down to Spartanburg, South Carolina where I have a seminar scheduled in the First Baptist Church of Roebuck, a suburb of Spartanburg, on Saturday morning. The following week we have seminars scheduled in Cincinnati and Bowling Green, Ohio. Appreciate your prayers for safe travel and that many will be helped and blessed.

First Seminar of the New Year a Tremendous Success

This past weekend was the New Year’s long weekend. We debated whether we should go ahead with Rhonda’s Culinary class on New Year’s Day, and our first Saturday-of-the-month, God’s Way to Ultimate Health seminar, on Saturday, January 2nd. Because it was a long holiday weekend, would anyone show up? But we decided to stay true to our commitment to a first-Saturday-of-the-month seminar and went ahead.
Then to make things even more difficult, the weekend was an extremely cold one for Shelby, North Carolina, with snowfall in the Appalachian Mountains and surrounding states. Friday and Saturday were also bitterly cold with strong northwest winds, not conducive to folks going out of doors and traveling to a seminar.
Well in spite of all the negative circumstances, Rhonda had 22 in her Friday Evening Culinary class and nearly 200 showed up for the Saturday Seminar and 33 stayed after the seminar for the Where Do I Go From Here class? For the seminar we had folks who had traveled from a dozen different states to attend. They were here from Michigan, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and of course from across North Carolina.
And the testimonies shared by those in attendance before Rev. Malkmus delivered his God’s Way to Ultimate Health message were, as always, outstanding. Our next God’s Way To Ultimate Health seminar here at Hallelujah Acres will be held on the first Saturday of February, which will be February 6th.
